first signs of
impending workplace violence
DESCRIPTION AND EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES

This course complements Module 5 (The Workplace Violence Perpetrator) and expands the participants' understanding of both subtle and overt behavioural and emotional signs that suggest deterioration in mental functioning and elevation of violence risk.

At the end of this course, participants will better understand and be alert to situations and behaviours that could herald a violent episode. Attention will also be devoted to how best to initiate preventative action.
